Meridian Booster Article

Simon Arseneau has written a nice article about the band in the Meridian Booster! Check it out, and remember to come see us at the Root Community Emporium in Lloydminster, SK on July 31 if you can!

Exclusive Bass Recital Footage (Girl From St. Lina)

Robin Woywitka & the Super 92 were honoured to close out the 2014 Alberta College Conservatory of Music Double Bass Recital a few weeks ago. This was a very fun gig, and all of the students (our own Greg Kolodychuk included) were fantastic! Thanks Mr. Tetel!

Summer Tour

We even get to share a bill with the talented and handsome men from Crestwood. Here are the dates:

July 31. 8:30pm. The Root Community Emporium. 4901 50 Ave, Lloydminster, SK.

August 1. 9:00pm. Vangelis Tavern, 801 Broadway Avenue, Saskatoon. w/ Crestwood.

Free music, cheap beer

RW & the Super 92 will be pulling into the Black Dog Freehouse for a rockin’ show this Saturday, July 12 from 4-6pm. Come on down for a cheap pint and fun, new music! We’re hoping the matching Herb Tarlek suits are in on time.

Rollin’ Together

Alex got trapped in the drum room during our most recent session at Sound Extractor Studios and captured this rare footage of the elusive and terrifyingly talented Stew Kirkwood laying down some sweet Hammond organ trax. Some serious Sunday morning tones going on there. The song is called ‘Roll Together,’ and it will be on our upcoming record. Stayed tuned for details of the release!

All the best,

RW & the Super 92

Hello Friends,

We will be recording at Sound Extractor studios this weekend with the famed Stew Kirkwood, producer of Juno nominated records (see Chloe Albert) and all around sonic wizard. The last time we did this, Robin fell out of his chair listening to playbacks. Check the first track in the SoundCloud player above for an advance peek at the roots ‘n’ roll debauchery that led to that incident. He’ll be wearing extensive personal protective equipment for the duration of this session.

Let us tease you with song titles:

Is My Heart in the Right Place?/Burn Down on Their Own/What Brings You Here?

Talk soon,

RW & the Super 92
